Position Description:

The ArcSight CND Analyst will be responsible for the development and maintenance of custom ArcSight rules and scripts for the Military Health Systems Cyberinfrastructure Services (MCIS) Computer Network Defense (CND). This individual is expected to be able to install and maintain ArcSight Connectors as well as databases. This individual shall be able to provide expert Network Intrusion Detection (NID) analysis skills with emphasis on packet level analysis. This individual must also possess expert level knowledge of Sourcefire products with emphasis on writing/modifying Snort detection rules.

A Department of Defense (DoD) Secret clearance is required


Required Knowledge and Skills:

Knowledge of Sourcefire products.
Knowledge of ArcSight products.
Knowledge of Oracle Products.
Knowledge of Intrusion Analysis at a Packet Level

Basic Qualifications:
A B.S. in Computer Science plus 13 years of experience or 21 years of experience.
