Job Description: * The Sales Executive will engage the appropriate Applexus resources and leverage Applexus*s expertise as a natural part of the sales process. * He or she will focus on clients, utilizing business knowledge and packaged solution expertise to effectively integrate solutions into clients' business environments in order to achieve client expected business results. * Needs high-energy, successful salespeople who aren*t afraid to meet and beat aggressive quota targets. * Identify, qualify and close new opportunities; develop and nurture client relationships and gather requirements for new and existing opportunities. * Lead sales cycles coordinating all internal resources for successful deal execution * Manage project financials * Accomplish forecast, activity management and billing information reporting in an accurate and timely manner * Additionally, he or she will be responsible for: Leading negotiations on complex contracts that advance the client's and Applexus*s strategic objectives **win-win** deals. * Protecting, enhancing, and growing customer relationships insuring overall success in all things that touch our clients. Independently driving revenue growth by identifying, qualifying, and closing sales. Seeking out and defining undefined sales opportunities. * Developing close relationships with SAP sales teams, jointly pursuing opportunities. Influencing portfolio management to expand current capabilities and future offerings. Tracking market trends and competitive offerings. * Requirements for the Sales Executive role include: The ability to demonstrate expert sales techniques, organizational, business and professional selling skills. Deep experience with mid-market clients and knowledge of applications. Expertise and experience in developing and maintaining executive business. Comfort level with carrying a $2 million to $4 million quota. Demonstrated expertise in identifying, qualifying and closing large/complex business and IT solution opportunities. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including a strong presentation development and delivery background.
Required Skills: * MUST have experience dealing with SAP services. * MUST have a successful track record of carrying a $2 million+ quota as an individual contributor. * MUST have existing relationships with SAP sales teams. * A history of successfully meeting/exceeding sales quotas * Solid understanding of Sales Methodology * Strong problem solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills * Superior communication skills, both written and oral (including group presentations/sales presentations) * At least 5 years of experience working as sales executive in IT. * At least 3 years experience in professional services consulting at a national or global management consulting firm * At least 2 years experience in collaborating in development of complex deals * At least 3 years experience in selling / closing deals in a high pressure environment * At least 3 years experience in creating winning business cases and proposals * At least 2 years experience in effectively speaking and writing at an executive level
