HERAE is looking for a skilled and experienced build engineer. Candidate will be an adaptable self-starter with a desire to collaborate with the team and contribute ideas to ensure a successful product. Candidate will be an experienced SCM engineer capable of working with all aspects of a Java technology based build, test, deployment, and CM system.
Responsibilities
* Troubleshoot, develop and maintain automated build, test, and deployment scripts. Apps to build include a web app for internal use, external customer, and an app for data interchange with health care plans, banks, and other partners.
* Setup and maintain a SVN SCM system.
* Aid in the deployment and organization of releases to QA, Staging, and Production systems.
* Document the design and operations of automated build and SCM systems.
* Be a hard-working, adaptable problem solver with good communication skills.
Required Skills, Education and Experience
* Understanding of automated build (continuous integration) and SCM principles.
* Experience in an agile development environment.
* Proven experience with usage of Ant and Maven.
* Proven experience with management of a SVN or similar SCM repository.
* Experience with Linux-based and Windows-based scripting.
* Understanding of SQL basics.
* Proficiency in troubleshooting and detail-oriented problem diagnosis.
* Good communication and technical writing skills.
* Ability to work closely with a small team in a collaborative environment.
* BS Computer Science or equivalent.
* Minimum three years of relevant experience.
Desired Skills, Education and Experience
* Understanding of or experience with Continuous Integration Servers.
* Experience writing and maintaining system and component level automated tests hooked into a continuous integration build.
* Experience with Linux.
* Experience with EDI, XML, and data transformation processes.
