Our client is seeking a Business Analyst to play a key role in product development projects. The Analyst will need to understand the business needs and define specifications for a solution that meets the needs of external and internal customers. Business Analysis skills are required, with activities focused on functional UI design and usability. The Business Analyst will need to have knowledge of trade and post-trade processing, STP, SWIFT, or FIX protocol develop in order to quickly gain in-depth knowledge of Clients financial product set, both from a functional and high-level architectural perspective.
The Business Analyst must be able to lead/manage analysis and product design tasks for select product development projects.
Analyze and document client requirements
Translate requirements into product solutions
Design approach for User Interface design
Define and develop UI specs (wireframes, page flows, details on the page navigation to/from, field specifications, actors and actions, functionality and business rules) for web-based applications based on client requirements
Applies detailed knowledge of usability standards
Perform design walkthroughs
Monitor project progress
Help out with additional Business Analysis tasks (message layouts and field mappings, use cases, workflows and state transitions) on project
Helps build User Interface design standards and best practices
