JOB GROUP SUMMARY
Our IT professionals create best-in-class solutions that integrate technology, information and business processes. They keep applications, systems, networks and processes up and running so employees, members, providers and plan sponsors stay connected with needed tools and information.

POSITION SUMMARY
- Supports Development Life Cycle including Maintenance and QA
- Translates specific portions of business requirements to technical specifications.
- Assists with the technical designs of new application or enhancements including integration of purchased solutions.
- Codes and/or reuses existing code through the use of program development software and/or integrates purchased solutions.
- Supports and promotes the reuse of assets across the organization
- Performs unit and integrated system testing, according to detailed plans to ensure high-quality systems.
- Supports processes related to the implementation of system into production including integration of purchased solutions.
- Performs ongoing system maintenance, research, and support, according to defined plans or documentation for existing systems.
- Utilizes accepted methodology & tools in a disciplined manner.

EDUCATION
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

ADDITIONAL JOB INFORMATION
Required Technical Skills- .Net, C#, VB 6.0 , MS SQL, Strong knowledge of Stored procedures and functions, Solid Experience with Relational database like SQL Server

Nice to have skills
- Business Objects
- Basic EDI Knowledge,
- XML, XSLT, XPath, Xquery.
- X12 transaction processing experience utilizing X12 translation software such as Websphere DataStage TX (formerly known as Mercator) is a big plus
- Healthcare related programming/development experience a plus

Required Additional Skills-Good oral and written communication skills-Strong time management skills and ability to interact with IT and business -partner teams-Ability to work effectively in a fast-moving, multi-project environment
