The Online Sales and Operations (OSO) team keeps Google growing and profitable. We are dedicated to supporting the company's expanding global base of advertisers, publishers and users in more than 40 languages, and providing them with the highest levels of service. DoubleClick, a Google company, enables top marketers, publishers and agencies to utilize DoubleClick's expertise in ad serving, rich media, video, and affiliate marketing to help them make the most of the digital medium. The role: DART Enterprise Services and Operations Business Manager
As head of operations for DART Enterprise, you will lead a bi-coastal team responsible for technical account management and consulting services for some of Google's most strategic, high-profile publisher clients. You will be responsible for co-leading the DART Enterprise Americas business in close partnership with Product Management, Engineering, and Sales. You will also serve as an integral member of the Publisher Ad Serving Operations senior leadership team, including helping to lead the development and roll-out of exciting new ad serving products.
You will be a strong cross-functional leader and operator with in-depth technical expertise, a passion for high-touch service, and extensive management experience. You have strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, quantitative, communication, and process skills. You must be extremely customer-focused, proactive, motivated, and innovative, and work well within a fast-paced cross-functional group.
Responsibilities:
* Manage a high-performing team to deliver world-class technical services and support to Google's DART Enterprise customers.
* Partner with Product Management and Engineering to shape the future of the product and business based on customer needs.
* Maintain and improve performance on key operational metrics, including customer satisfaction and resolution time, lead operational strategy projects, including conducting quantitative analysis and industry research.
* Working with cross-functional partners, lead the rapid resolution of client issues and escalations, inspire and lead continuous innovation to increase operational efficiency, improve systems and processes, and enhance service levels.
Requirements:
* BA/BS degree with a strong academic record. Technical degree and MBA strongly preferred.
* At least 5 years of experience managing high-tech operations and/or client services.
* Passion for working with customers in the online ad serving technology space.
* Ability to effectively influence and communicate cross-functionally across all levels of management within Google and within customer organizations.
* Excellent client service and communication skills.
* Ability to effectively operate with high energy and flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment.
* Online advertising industry, Unix, and/or technical web services/API experience a plus.
