Job Summary: The Senior IP/Telephony Engineer is a multifaceted position requiring three primary activities with responsibilities in pre-sales system and network design, network implementations, and customer technical support.
Senior Cisco IP Telephony Engineer you will design, deploy, implement and support systems for public and enterprise installations. This position will analyze business requirements in order to design and implement mobile and infrastructure solutions using any or all of the following Cisco technologies: Call Manager, Unity, Voice Gateway, Land Mobile Radio Gateway (LMR), LAN routing & switching, wireless, and QoS. Experience in hardware provisioning, installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting coupled with a background in network maintenance including security services, load monitoring, system resiliency, back-up, and restore to resolve issues and mentor others.
This position will lead projects through full lifecycle including requirements gathering, design, test, documentation and implementation. Successful candidate will coordinate with customers, partners and appropriate departments. Must be able to follow engineering processes to define a problem, propose solutions, develop a design and oversee implementation.
