Our client, a Major Global Financial Services Firm is seeking a Senior Java Developer for Equity Prime Brokerage Risk. Andiamo Partners represents numerous financial firms as a Tier I recruiting vendor.

The Securities Services group within Equities, of which Prime Brokerage Technology is a part, offers significant opportunities for long term career growth and the chance to develop technical, business and leadership skills with exposure to a broad range of products and business flows.
The Prime Brokerage technology team is responsible for the development of applications which service the needs of our hedge fund clients from front to back. The suite of applications acts as the public interface of us to the client and supports functions such as portfolio management, real time trade processing, risk management and reporting all in a high volume, highly scalable, distributed environment.
Security service risk division is seeking an enthusiastic finance IT professional with strong passion to succeed. The detailed requirement is as follows:

• Senior Unix/Java developer positions with at least 5 years Financial industry application development experience, Risk management background is a plus;
• Strong Java, Sybase, Perl/Unix Scripting, and C++ programming skills;
• System architecture design, OO design patterns, database model design;
• Quantitative knowledge of basic pricing/risk calculations of financial instruments;
• Strong data analysis/problem solving/system debugging skills;
• Team player with ownership mindset, Strong working ethics;
• Effective written and oral communication skills required;
• Able to deliver project end to end independently, and good Project management skill needed;
