CedarCrestone is seeking bright and motivated Pension Functional Consultants. Accepted candidates will have the skills to provide exceptional consulting services to clients, helping them gain the optimum benefit from their pension system. This position requires 100% travel with projects executed on-site at CedarCrestone client locations nationwide with a typical week of four 10-hour days.
General Duties/Tasks:
- Provide Pension functional consulting services to clients
- Complete tasks in an efficient, timely manner reporting progress to the implementation Project Manager and Engagement Manager
- Seek innovative ways to improve the process of delivering solutions
- Share suggestions/knowledge capital to help optimize implementation methodology
Required Skills:
- Significant experience in pension systems implementations
- At least 5 years of current project management experience
- At least 3 years of work with a public retirement system providing a defined benefit plan
- Ability to work in all phases of the project life cycle
- Solid understanding and work experience with pension systems
Leadership Skills:
- Effectively manage scope and customer expectations
- Follow through on all assignments
- Take ownership of customer issues
Consulting Skills:
- Communicate clearly and effectively with customers, CedarCrestone account managers and CedarCrestone management
- Consistently produce clear, concise status reports
- Build confidence and trust with customers
- Display effective analytical skills
