Job Description:



Candidate position is for an microwave development engineer. Duties include the performance of microwave circuit requirements analysis, conduct circuit design and component trade studies, performs research, computer modeling, breadboard/prototype development and support to production. Functions as lead microwave development engineer and may participate in IRAD programs. Will be required to support proposal and bid preparation.





Basic Qualifications:

-Minimum 6 years of microwave circuit and component design experience

-Extensive knowledge of microwave circuit theory, design techniques, and general microwave component types preferably including stripline, microstrip, coaxial, and waveguide transmission concepts and design techniques.

-Working knowledge of common microwave circuit design CAD tools such as ADS

-Experience with the use and operation general microwave test equipment such as vector network analyzers, signal generators.

-Must be able to communicate and work effectively with others.

-Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.





Desired Skills:

-Familiarity with EW equipment design and with broad band and high power design techniques.

-Should be familiar with common microwave circuit design CAD tools such as HFSS, MATLAB.

-Knowledge of programming languages C, C++, MATLAB.



-Master's Degree preferred.

-Existing Secret security clearance.









Required Education (including Major): Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics
