Job Description

  • Solution Engineer
  • Philadelphia, PA
 Experience in interacting with clients and convincing them about solution offerings

 Testing Experience with any ERP products like SAP, Oracle and Peoplesoft

 Sound knowledge in testing concepts, delivery models, process and metrics

 Experience with test automation and test accelerators

 Delivery experience, experience with discovery phase and conducting testing related workshops would be an added advantage

 Interact with the sales and delivery teams and ensure expectations are met with respect to proposal quality and related presentations

 Ensure proposals reflect achievable solutions and delivery plans, including estimates that follow AppLabs standard practices

 Work along with the pursuit team in coming up with a custom solution, resource model and estimates in responding to opportunities

 Ensure that all potential project risks are adequately covered by articulating the relevant assumptions in the responses

 Preparation of research reports covering industry trends in the testing space and provide on-demand research and analysis support to top management

 Work along with the team of business analysts / solution engineers who provide competitive research, company profiling, and sales support to onsite business development group

 Establish and maintain IT infrastructure to support operations of the Solutions Engineering group. This includes establishing processes to reuse and leverage capability information, solution models and estimate related IP for new opportunities

 Guiding the lead generation team on using online databases such as Hoovers for prospecting as well as client and competitor analysis
