Kirkwood Consulting is working with an Orlando area company that is seeking a Junior Software Engineer for a Contract-to-Hire opportunity.
Junior Software Engineer
Job Summary:
Design and develop models, behaviors and interfaces in the DoD industry.
Job Responsibilities:
Duties include identifying areas for software improvements, generating designs and documentation, implementation of software models, and performing root-cause analysis and corrective action.
Job Qualifications:
REQUIRED: C, C++ and/or Flash development. Applicants should have a Bachelors degree in Computer Science. Applicants should have strong written and oral communication skills. Object-oriented design and development knowledge is required. Applicants must be able to work in a team environment. Ability to hold a security clearance of level Secret is mandatory and is not waiverable; current or recent clearance is preferable. Must be a US Citizen.
DESIRED:
Experience with commercial game engine technology and workflow.
Gas Turbine, Diesel Engine and/or Power Generator experience.
2-D and 3-D Graphics rendering experience.
Network and System Administration experience a plus.
