Position can either be in Washington DC metro area or Boston metro area

Trojan Defense, LLC (Trojan) is a Washington-area based company focused on national defense
solutions, and is working on a joint venture basis with Boston-area based Radiation
MicroScience, Inc., a company providing state of the art modeling, simulation, and design of
radiation sensors and related technologies since 1985. Trojan is developing a solid-state neutron
sensor with a wide range of applications critical for national security and homeland defense.

Job Description:
Electrical Engineer / Electrical and Computer Engineer: Requirements include electrical engineer
(EE) or electrical and computer engineer (ECE) degree, and preferably at least 5 years
experience in
1) Electronic circuits involving semiconductor SRAM memories, microprocessors/
microcontrollers, and design of prototype breadboards, and printed circuit boards, and designing
and testing of these circuits.
2) Programming of microprocessor/ microcontroller for writing data into SRAM memory array-
type circuits and subsequently reading and displaying stored data.
3) Experience in design of interface electronics and software between microprocessor/
microcontroller systems and a PC computer (preferably through USB port); PC display to utilize
user-friendly GUI (graphical user interface) for controlling the storing of data and retrieving and
display of data. PC system will utilize MicroSoft Windows.
4) Preferred experience to also include technical report writing particularly of a style related to
government contract supported work.
5) Also useful, experience and/or familiarity with CMOS VLSI chip design, manufacturing and
test processes and methods.
Ideal candidate will be comfortable with presentations in front of government customers, have
experience in test and evaluation programs, is a self starter.
If you can spell and pronounce nuclear correctly you get an extra star.
