Duties and Responsibilities:
The primary goal of the Exchange Tier III Engineer is to assess current Microsoft Exchange organization implementations to ensure Microsoft Exchange best practices are being used to provide optimal performance. Assess and report on recommended Microsoft Exchange system enhancements and architectural.
You will be responsible to report capacity statics for current Exchange and provide predictive analysis using these statistics. As well as provide tier III support to the operational Exchange organization supporting 10000+ users across geographically separated locations and provide senior management briefs as to the health and well being of the operational Microsoft Exchange environment .You must be willing to travel CONUS, OCONUS, and into hazardous duty areas in support of customer requirements. Weekend and/or shift support occasionally required.
Background and experience:
• Position requires current TS SCI clearance.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field; experience in lieu of degree will be considered
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Messaging systems
• Experience with Tier III support
• Microsoft Exchange 2003/2007 10+ years experience
• Microsoft Windows 2000/2008 10+ years experience
• Exchange in a VMWare environment experience
• Experience using networked storage to support exchange
• Experience designing and architecting Microsoft Exchange Enterprise organizations
