Job Description
Performs design, installation, administration, troubleshooting, and support of LAN operating systems, servers, and applications. Develops risk management and mitigation strategy. Ensures compliance with QA standards. Normal working hours (weekends, holidays and after-hours on-call support required).
Background & Experience:
• 4-year degree or equivalent in related technical field.
• 8 years of experience in information technologies work. In-depth experience in one or more of the following technical areas: engineering, development, and administration of LAN operating systems, servers, and applications.
• At least two years experience as overall technical lead for development, operations, testing, integration, or fielding of complex systems.
• TS/SCI required (can start with a Secret clearance).
• Must obtain a Security+ certification within 1st 6 months on the job.
• Must be willing and able to deploy in support of military missions.
In addition, you will have the following qualifications:
• Expert ability to administer both UNIX and Windows 2000, 2003 based servers and clients
• comprehensive knowledge on configuring/managing Microsoft Active Directory and Exchange 2000 and 2003 systems
• Expert ability to install, maintains, and troubleshoot network infrastructure to include fiber optic and wired cabling, switches, and routers.
Desired:
• Prefer a secondary competency in scripting, software development and systems automation and integration.
• Prefer a certification in MCSE and CISSP.
