Extensive knowledge of TCP/IP concepts and implementations including:
IP sub-netting, VLSM, NAT, PAT(NAPT), QoS, and routing protocols

Experience supporting Layer 2/3 LAN and WAN switches and routers;

MUST have a strong understanding of the OSI model as it relates to analyzing application flows end-to-end and be able to apply the knowledge while troubleshooting through-out the SEVEN (7) layers.
Strong knowledge of various protocols running at different layers of the OSI model including:

TCP, UDP, OSPF, RIP, BGP, EIGRP, FTP, FTPS, SFTP, PPP, ISDN, Frame Relay

Experience with responding to and handling various audit requirements including the PAYMENT CARD INDUSTRY (PCI) Data Security Standard
(DSS) audit, FFIEC, SAS70s, customer requested audits, etc.

Education:
Graduate of an accredited college or university or technical school- appropriate work experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

Experience:
3-7 years of experience in a similar DATA NETWORKING ENVIRONMENT
Extensive experience with LAN/WAN networking products from Cisco;
Strong skills with load balancing products from F5 and Cisco;
Experience IMPLEMENTING & SUPPORTING Network solutions from:
Cisco, Checkpoint, Nokia, and other network vendors as required;
Experience supporting large-scale enterprise and service provider networks;

Certificates/ Licenses:
Cisco certifications including CCNP and CCIE
