Our client, a leading manufacturer of HDTV products is in need of a Sr. Level Image Processing Hardware Engineer.
Job Description:
Our client is looking for a senior level Image Processing Hardware Engineer who will become key contributor to our HDTV video surveillance applications and systems. The ideal candidate is a person with hands-on FPGA hardware design expertise in the field of digital image processing who enjoys working in an extremely aggressive engineering team. Depending on the individual this position may also include some management responsibilities and evolve into the hardware development manager position.

- design FPGA-based image processing systems for megapixel IP cameras
- participate in hardware, firmware and software system integration

Requirements:
Ph.D. in EE with 5+ years of experience in the related field, or an equivalent
Required skills:
- Digital Image Processing
- VHDL
- Xilinx ISE
- Mentor Graphics Precision RTL, Leonardo Spectrum, or similar tools
- ModelSim, or similar tools
Additional nice-to-have skills:
- familiarity with embedded / microprocessor programming
- familiarity with image compression standards, such as H.264
