DIRECT HIRE POSITION - 8:00AM-5:00PM
One of the most well-known and successful companies in the entertainment industry is experiencing growth, and is, therefore, hiring a Business Analyst to work specifically with Interactive Technology.
Position Overview/Summary:
Senior Business Analysts are expected to demonstrate exceptional collaborative problem-solving skills. This includes:

Active listening.
Formulating and expressing desired outcomes.
Identifying underlying interests, and developing and analyzing their consequences.
Writing:

Requirements and Use Cases.
Workflow documentation.

Developing User Acceptance Test Plans.

The Interactive Technology Group encompasses Our Client's Web properties, (i.e. internal sites, as well as Intranet and B2B sites) and New Business Development centered on new and emerging technology platforms (i.e. mobile and wireless, IP-delivered/Broadband video, interactive television/OCAP/EBIF, and others).
This is a group whose purpose is to:

Work with Our Client's business partners in order to identify new and exciting distribution platforms.
Architect and deliver compelling solutions to enable the continued growth of the Company and its subsidiaries.

About Our Client:
Our Client provides 24-hour premium TV services to subscribers across the United States via cable, C-band satellite, Direct Broadcast Satellite (DBS) and Multichannel Multipoint Distribution Service (MMDS). This TV service is also available to guests in hotels and motels across the country.
This is a Direct Hire position, through Volt Workforce Solutions - a division of a Fortune 1000 publicly traded Staffing Industry Leader, based in Woburn, MA. We are among the largest IT staffing companies in the US for contract/temporary and direct hire placements and support most of the top rated IT companies on the East Coast.

Requirements:

Required Skills for this Business Analyst position include the following:

3+ years of Website/New Media Development experience
In-depth experience with numerous projects from inception to successful launch (i.e. complete solutions/Project Lifecycle)
Experience with UML, a conceptual knowledge of the components of Web Applications; i.e.

Web Pages
Application Servers
Content Management Systems
RESTful Web services
Flash/Flex

Experience in the following (must provide samples of original work products):

Creating documentation of technical systems
Training users in complex topics
Operational procedures

Must have worked on eCommerce or other customer-facing, web-related projects
Working knowledge of or experience with formal Data Modeling, Project Management and Application Development methodologies
Proficiency with MS Project, Word, Excel and MS Visio
Application Development experience a plus, but not required
