SensorLink designs and manufactures products used in the electric utility industry. The products can consist of sensors (current and voltage), electronics, and an enclosure for the sensors and electronics. Some of the main elements in considering the design of these products are: durability, need to work in the harsh environments of weather and high voltage, insulation from high voltage charges, high volume, and manufacturability. Please go to our web page at www.sensorlink.com to view the products we currently produce.

History: SensorLink was founded in 1985 as an Engineering and Consulting firm, with the mission of providing engineering and research assistance to companies needing to improve their competitive edge using technology. In 1988, SensorLink was approached by a power utility with a request to develop a device that would eliminate the mechanical clamp from measurements of current. An inductive sensor was developed that used no magnetic materials and had no moving parts. The result is a patented amp sensor that is used in almost all SensorLink products. Today, thousands of SensorLink meters and recorders are in service worldwide.

Present: Sensorlink continues to research, design, and manufacture innovative products for the electric utility industry. Significant emphasis is put into the research and development of new products and into making existing models better. The electric utility industry is spending much time, effort and money to upgrade and enhance their systems. SensorLink wants to help them achieve successful upgrades and meet their goals.

The working environment: SensorLink's employee turnover rate is very low due to having a family type atmosphere and challenging projects.

The Vision: All employees know that SensorLink strives to be relied upon to deliver productive solutions. This vision is achieved by being honest with ourselves and all the people we come into contact with, by building trusting relationships with fellow employees, vendors and customers, by dedication to the quality of our products and our lives, and through continuous innovative thinking. If you agree with these values and want to be part of the vision, then you need to apply to SensorLink Corporation.

Benefits: SensorLink offers health insurance for the subscriber and his/her family with some employee deduction.
