The IT Support/Systems Engineer is expected to closely work with internal customer requirements and work with on site and off site team to deliver high quality IT solutions. The position requires hands IT support and technical knowledge while adhering to software industry best practices.

Job Requirements
 
You must have at least 2 to 5 years extensive experience with:

• Windows 7 laptops 
• Installation and configuring of all common desktop/server hardware
• Routers and VPNs (from Linksys/Netgear to Netopia, SonicWall, and FortiNet) Setup of firewall rules, tunnels etc.
• Cisco router knowledge would be great, but not required
• Windows 2000-2008 Servers and AD knowledge required
• Must know Outlook, PST files, and Exchange Server
• Terminal Services and Remote Desktop
• Backup systems using Backup Exec and Retrospect
• Management of Linux based systems and applications in high traffic SaaS Production environment
• OS installation, upgrades, patching, tuning, monitoring and troubleshooting
• Support Staging and Production environments with product deployments/releases
• Administer backups and restores for large environment
• Track performance and capacity on an ongoing basis 
• Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation to support production systems.
• Strong understanding of LAMP stack
• IT Diploma or Undergraduate degree in electrical engineering or information technology.
