We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to serve as a versatile Level 2 Support Technician for our custom video editing/analysis software package running on Microsoft based environments. This individual must be willing to take initiative and be able to multitask, work alone and with team members, and work well under pressure. The successful candidate will provide timely and professional support of existing customer network environments, while contributing to the design, upgrade and implementation of new network solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for documenting processes and providing training for the level 1 support staff and for customers. This individual will also be responsible for providing input during the development of products, projects and bids. The successful candidate will need to work closely and efficiently with various clients throughout the country, and possess excellent interpersonal communication skills.

Required Skills/Experience:

- Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server 200x, Windows XP, SQL Server 200x
- Proficient in storage technologies such as RAID, NAS, SAN, SATA, SAS
- In-depth networking knowledge including TCP/IP, Switches, Routers, VLAN**s, VPN Devices, DNS, WINS, DHCP
- Proficient in scripting languages such as BAT files, VB Script or Nullsoft Installation Scripts
- Programming and/or Crystal Reports knowledge is a plus
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability and willingness to travel (can be extensive at times)
