This position requires a proven Oracle Applications background with a history of successful support, implementation, and maintenance of the Oracle Financial system.
The ability to analyze situations and offer solid Oracle solutions with Client personnel is critical.
This individual will work closely with other Client analysts, experienced Oracle consultants, interact directly with multiple accounting and operations personnel at various manufacturing locations and be able to offer solutions to meet business requirements.
*Provide hands on support for GL, AP, AR, CE, FA, ADI, FSG’s, EBTax & iExpenses modules
*Participate in business projects for or affecting Oracle
*Work directly with personnel (functional and technical), external consulting partner and other outside vendors as required in a functional role
*Work with accounting to analyze the data
*Work with different divisions to develop a thorough understanding of the business processes and business requirements in order to effectively suggest and support business and system solutions for Oracle and other related financial software
*Responsible for the scoping, requirements, documentation and execution of assigned Oracle implementation tasks across a multi-org environment
*Ability to understand complex topics related to Oracle Applications including inter-org transactions and transaction flow across multiple systems and to provide recommendations for process improvement
*Provide support and recommendations to improve existing custom extensions and reports
*Perform application configuration and setup across multiple areas of Oracle Application R12
*Assist and/or lead application functionality testing, patch testing, and provide recommendations for functionality enhancements
*Develop and update important documentation including business process flows, translating business requirements into documents, functional and technical design documents, test cases, and user training material
*Conduct user training
*Some travel may be required
*5 years comprehensive, hands-on experience with Oracle Financials R12.
*Must have a solid IT background in implementing and/or supporting Oracle Financial modules, including GL, AP, AR, CE, FA, ADI, FSG’s & iExpenses.
*Business experience on Oracle Financial modules a MUST
*Familiar with Oracle Financial tables & the ability to write SQL queries.
*Experience with both discrete manufacturing and projects accounting environments.
*Experience with Oracle R12 required.
*Experience with business project and support documentation; SDLC knowledge a plus.
