Location: DuBois, PA
Duration: 6+ Months
•Be responsible for the design, documentation, implementation, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of products, manufacturing and engineering tools and systems as required.
•Develop and work with the design engineering team on projects, leading the mechanical and environmental designs and assisting with design calculations, FEA and other structural and ergonomic factors.
•Assist System Test, Quality Assurance and Supply Chain in investigating and analyzing defective parts submitted by vendors.
•Assist Engineering in troubleshooting manufacturing related fit and function guidelines with newly sourced parts and sub-assemblies.
•Ensure all of aspects of mechanical design and development including schedule adherence, cost, and performance/quality of the end product.
•Bachelors of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent Experience
•Ability to evaluate and make recommendation on cost control, reliability and manufacturability issues and maintain aggressive development schedules.
•Experience with Creo2/ProE is suggested.
• Excellent hands on testing and troubleshooting skills
•Excellent communications skills with the ability to convey technical concepts in business terms
•The ability to work with cross functional teams to create a fully functional system
