Qlarion is seeking a State & Local Account Executive for a unique opportunity to drive strategic sales of our pre-built analytics solutions for the State & Local market.

Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

 Meet and exceed sales goals (quotas) through prospecting, qualifying, managing and closing sales opportunities.

 Develop and manage sales pipeline, prospect and assess sales and move a large number of transactions simultaneously thorough the sales pipeline.

 Define and execute territory / account sales plans for assigned geographic territory

 Develop and manage partner relationships in State and Local government

 Perform in-depth state and agency research to create compelling business cases and RFP responses

 Manage, track and report customer and transactional information in a CRM system.

 Keep abreast of competition, competitive issues and products.

 Travel to customer locations in support of sales efforts.

The desired candidate must meet the requirements below and will be compensated based on their qualifications:

 BA/BS Degree or equivalent business experience

 5+ years of enterprise software sales experience.

 Minimum of 3+ years of experience selling into State and Local government agencies.

 Minimum 3+ years selling Business Intelligence or Data Warehousing technology

 Consistent increase in earnings and commissions throughout sales career

 Track record of over-achieving quota in past positions.

 Experience in structured sales techniques spanning the entire sales cycle i.e. identification and qualification of opportunities, business     development and ongoing account management.

 Must have expertise at the transactional & Enterprise level. You lead prospects and customers as opposed to reacting to customer requests. You know how to “drive a deal”.

 Ability to persuade and influence, using appropriate interpersonal styles and communication methods to gain acceptance of thoughts, plans, activities, services and products.

 Self-driven and motivated
