Position: Senior Network Engineer * Level 3 (Note: This is NOT an entry level position)

Job Description:
Celera Networks Inc., a Boston-based Managed Services and Technology Outsourcing company, is looking for motivated professionals with solid technical backgrounds and past consulting experience for a Senior Level Network Engineer opening. This position will consist of many duties including:

Ongoing support for our diverse client base
Hardware & Software Service, Installation and Troubleshooting
Technical client interactions
Mentoring of junior consulting staff
Management of client expectations
Project management with technical assessment and execution.

Candidate Requirements:
Technical Skills - Windows based platform experience and extensive exposure to local area networks, server based operating systems and client/server applications and hardware is a must. Applicants should also have experience with the majority of the items listed below:
Microsoft Windows Server/ Active Directory upgrades and migrations
Microsoft Exchange Server 2010/2007/2003 upgrade and migrations
Windows Terminal Services/ Remote Desktop Setup and Configuration
Desktop management in Active Directory environments
Workstation Imaging and Deployment Technologies
VMWare/Hyper-V/Virtualization concepts and best practices
Installation and Configuration of iSCSI Storage Arrays
Network Router and Switch Installations and Configuration (VLANs, Stacking, etc.)
Router/Firewall Setup and Configuration (Netscreen, SonicWall, Cisco ASA, etc.)
In-depth understanding of IP based networks and the Internet (DNS, DHCP, WINS)
VPN Setup and Configuration (Gateway to Gateway, PPTP)
Ability to understand proprietary application environments (installation, configuration, etc.)
Setup/Configuration of Hosted Services such as Online Backup/Hosted Exchange
Security concepts and best practices
Cloud Technologies * (Mail Encryption, Archiving, Spam/Virus Filtering and Business Continuity)

Personal Qualities - Candidates should be highly motivated with exceptional communication skills, possess the ability to think about technical issues in a logical sense as well as a business/profitability sense. They should also have an extreme desire to learn new technologies and a positive mental attitude toward clients and collegues. Also you should have the ability to work independently, the passion to overcome technical challenges and the ability to multi-task and grasp new concepts quickly. Candidates should also be comfortable with training and mentoring Junior Network Engineers and working effectively in a fast paced, high energy environment. They should have great organizational skills and be able to effectively manage technical projects/implementations.

Other Requirements:
5+ years experience in a Network Consulting/Managed Services position, Management/Project Management Experience
Be a Microsoft Certified Professional
