Software Architect

Revenue Analytics has an immediate need to hire a Software Architect for our Data Engineering Group. The firm offers a competitive base salary, 20%-30% bonus incentive, full benefits, 401K + match and a well-defined partnership track!

Revenue Analytics is looking for people who design and engineer large scale solutions with sophisticated optimization models for Fortune 500 companies.  As a member of the Revenue Analytics Team, you will be part of a dynamic, growth organization dedicated to helping our clients optimize the price and availability of their products. 

The Software Architect will play a key role in client engagements.  The Software Architect will interface with peer senior technology professionals on our client delivery projects while leading the implementation of Revenue Management & Pricing systems.




  • Design and develop a software and database framework for forecasting, optimization, data loading, reporting and analytics
  • Consult with our clients on the data model and software design for pricing and revenue management solutions
  • Spearhead the software development activities for our clients
  • Design and develop high performance, high availability systems
  • Manage the full life cycle of the process, monitoring research, reviewing codes and supervising any testing
  • Dictate design choices to software engineers including platforms, coding and technical standards
  • Design and develop software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation
  • Designing, coding and debugging applications in various software languages
  • Object-oriented Design and Analysis
  • Document, support, and maintain software functionality
  • Mentor personnel in the Data Engineering department




  • Bachelor's in an information sciences or engineering field
  • 9+ years of experience in software engineering
  • 9+ years experience with a relational database
  • Expertise with Linux/Unix or Windows  and with SHELL & PERL
  • Expertise with Java, C#/.net or C++
  • Knowledge of frequently used development methodologies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem solving & analytical skills
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%


The ideal candidate will also have …


  • Creative approach to problem solving and solution design
  • Previous experience in pricing and revenue management, or a related field


Nice to have skills: (these are a plus, not a must have): Oracle SQL Linux Unix Windows programming data model engineering SHELL PERL Java Delphi software programmer software developer SAS Delphi C# C++ Visual Basic VB MySQL DB2 PL/SQL
