This key position is an Enterprise Architect and will be someone who provides a high level of enterprise-wide architecture experience focusing on the mapping of IT capabilities to business needs.
The focus will be on defining the relationships, flows and implementation of business (processes/activities/functions, information), applications, data and technology in the enterprise and the transitional process necessary for implementing technology in response to changing business needs.
This role will be creating and maintaining architectural best practices as well as addressing application, data and technology in the context of business processes across the company.
This role will also evaluating the current architecture by leading analysis of the current IT environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement.
An emphasis on Infrastructure is important and a background in design and implementation.
The Enterprise Architect will independently determine and develop architectural approaches and solutions, conducts business reviews, document current systems in the portfolio, and recommend how to proceed with the applications (replace, retire, maintain, etc.).
The position will develop and tailor application design concepts and implementation plans for the efficient transformation of the current application portfolio, with the goal of delivery more agile solutions.
Will be providing leadership and coordination for a cross functional team of architects on projects as assigned.
Will be incorporating SOA principles into enterprise architecture design, including identifying opportunities.
