An International, successful, extremely profitable and the largest global privately held medical software/hardware Company is looking for a Tandberg Videoconferencing Administrator. The company is privately held, has been in business for 50+ years, is very profitable and has never laid-off an employee.
The Tandberg Videoconferencing Administrator will be solely responsible for managing, supporting, upgrading, enhancing and troubleshooting the entire videoconference and teleconference systems. The systems are based on Tandberg and encompass 80 global endpoints in the U.S., Europe, South America and Asia. The Tandberg Videoconferencing Administrator is responsible for ensuring the stable operation of the in-house global Tandberg Videoconferencing infrastructure (50% located in the U.S. and 50% in Europe). This individual also performs continuing design and analysis to provide ongoing cost-effective implementation of videoconferencing solutions to meet the Company’s current and future needs. The Tandberg Videoconferencing Administrator maintains the national and international Videoconferencing hardware/software including all endpoints and network infrastructure and ensures video scheduling is consistently accurate and reliable. The Tandberg Videoconferencing Administrator proactively supports, maintains and optimizes the environment and recommends configuration changes to optimize performance. The Tandberg Videoconferencing Administrator coordinates Videoconferencing and Unified Communications projects with vendors and other internal stakeholders, provides project documentation and conducts analysis to ensure organizational objectives are met and maintains records and documentation of all aspects of the video teleconferencing environment.
If the candidate’s skill set allows, the Tandberg Videoconferencing Administrator will spend approximately 10% of their time supporting the company’s Avaya Telecommunications systems located in several offices across the U.S. The Tandberg Videoconferencing Administrator will monitor and resolve Level 2 and 3 Telephony Avaya VoIP and PBX related Help Desk tickets, opens and monitors tickets with vendors and documents root cause analysis for ongoing knowledge base and process improvement.

The Tandberg Videoconferencing Administrator reports to the Director of IS
MUST have 1+ yrs experience maintaining Tandberg Videoconferencing systems
Experience with videoconferencing solutions including Tandberg End Points, Tandberg infrastructure components
The following are only a Plus (NOT MANDATORY):
Any experience with Cisco’s TelePresence, Cisco’s Unified Videoconferencing or Cisco’s Unified Communications Manager a plus
Experience maintaining and supporting telecommunications systems
Experience with Avaya preferred (not necessary)
Experience with telephony move, add, and change processes, management processes, as well as problem isolation and resolution techniques and system management tools, reports and on-line resources. Familiarity with ITIL processes and framework BS in CS or related degree or relevant certifications
Experience with Avaya Definity/Communications Manager
Working knowledge of voice networks and LAN/WAN systems, networks, and applications including IP Network Protocols would be a plus
Experience in implementing and troubleshooting VLANS using Cisco would be beneficial. Some experience with Exchange helpful; but not necessary
