Brings deep expertise in designing, tuning and monitoring infrastructure to support Oracle applications: * Designs the overall architecture and infrastructure design * Develops the infrastructure plan * Manages the development of infrastructure for the ERP Program * Participates in the design and development of the infrastructure components of the architecture strategy * Designs and implements physical relationships between Oracle environments * Provides hands-on assistance to any of the Infrastructure areas as required * Ensures infrastructure activities are integrated and addressed * Designs a backup strategy for each of the Oracle systems * Configure and implement "backup/recovery" server according to the requirements of each Oracle system * Design a disaster recovery strategy for the Oracle architecture * Implement and transition enterprise management strategy (system resource management, help desk, software distribution) * Participate in system performance tuning * Implement and transition security strategy for the architecture * Implement and transition remote access strategy
Supports ERP Program Management efforts: * Assists in development of team work plans * Monitors/updates team work plans * Attends regularly scheduled Team Lead meeting within the workstream reviews and facilitates resolution of team related issues (including update of team-wide issues log) * Maintains communication with Workstream Lead(s) and Workstream Business Process Champion and ERP Program Managers
Manages day-to-day team activities: * Prioritizes, assigns and monitors individual team member tasks * Coordinates team meetings (organize, communicate and provide meeting minutes/summaries) * Provides guidance and strategy to problem/issue resolution - Oversees team related documentation (i.e. issues log, requirements, documentation)
