I've been puzzled about this also. Lately I've been filtering my searches to only jobs posted in the last 2 days and the same jobs keep coming up.... for over a month, and the posting date on each and every one of them is always "today". I have noticed that 95% of them are from recuiting/staffing agencies. I agree, it's annoying and worthless.
(Although I also agree with HOAPres that if this was fixed, I'd only get around 1 or 2 results a day in my searches!)

My gut tells me that for an extra fee an employers job may show up as "new" everyday, just as job seekers may also pay a fee to gain an advantage. Really I dont care personnaly, I didnt pay anything to use dice and therefore do not feel like they owe me anything.
