The one I like that sits in for him is neither of them. There is one that looks like Morticia from the Adams Family that is alright. I don't know her name as I don't watch regularly any more.

Could you please be specific, what exactly has Lou said that makes him "come across as being racist?"
Frankly, I suspect that a lot of illegals don't want anybody telling it like it is, so they are playing the race card. Correct me if I'm wrong about that, but please be as specific as possible.

You ask a very fair question - what about Lou Dobbs makes him "appear" to be racist. Remember, I didn't say he was racist but in order to keep his ratings pumped up, he puts on a show of ostensible hatred.
Aside from his repetitive statements of getting rid of illegal aliens (are the illegals here from outer space because that's what it feels like listening to him). He also redundantly praises the two border patrol agents for shooting the illegal without waiting for facts to come out. I'll have to reluctantly watch him again for an hour and take notes. I will report back.
I happen to agree with the guy on the issues and I feel I have become more intolerant of others (Mexicans moving into my neighborhood who do not speak English; having to press 1 on the phone to continue in English, etc.) in part, as a result of listening to him. That makes me a bit of a bigot. (One of a gazillion definitions: The rigid intolerance of ideas or persons seen as different.)

How is that raciest? If somebody said: "we should get rid of all Asian-Americans/African-Americans/Hispanic Americans" then that would be raciest. How is it raciest to ask that US enforce it's immigration laws? Especially after the 9/11 terrorist attack, which was perpetrated by people here illegally. Also, consider the skyrocketing kidnapping incidents along the US boarder. Clearly, it is way past time for the US to enforced it's immigration laws, and protect it's citizens.

Was the shooting justified? I realize that most illegals are just looking for jobs. But maybe you, and others, need to realize that some illegals are very, very dangerous people.

I do not see that as bigotry, or intolerance, at all. My relatives, on my mother's side, came here from Italy in the 1930s. The first thing they needed to do was to learn to speak English. Certainly they did not arrogantly expect everybody else to speak Italian to accommodate them. If I were to move to a foreign nation, I would not expect everybody there to learn to speak my language. And to expect everybody to learn to speak your language, when you are here illegally is even more arrogant.

Olbermann works for MSNBC. The MS part of that routinely works in spear campaigns against those whose oppose their views. The MS part of that is also the nations largest H1B employer, and most vocal H1B advocate, and would certainly not care for the only person in popular media who is publicly opposed to their views.
Furthermore, Olberman is such a snarky, childish, jack@ss, it is impossible for me to take him seriously. Lou may not be perfect, but at least Lou is somewhat professional.

GHWB was right when he recently called Olbermann and Maddow 'sick puppies'. Only ostrich head in sand partisan Democrats watch them which is why their ratings suck. Chris Matthews' ratings also suck. The whole of MSDNC is just a no revenue joke, and they've completely sold out to the Left wing of the Democratic party. They even resurrected Lawrence O'Donnell who completely lost it on the air during the 2004 race.

I brought it up since the beginning of the Obama candidacy. The fact that non-Obama supporting people sought to drive the stake through people's religious beliefs by promoting a man as "our God" that "we worship" is offensive, insensitive and an attack on the races that believe in a higher being. I have never heard a non-white refer to Obama as the savior or Obama supporters as worshipers. That particular attack is one done only by whites. That makes it racial.

Well thanks to some rich guys on Wall Street, U.S. university professors and India, Inc., the rest of us are being told that English is not necessary to perform tech-related jobs. Makes no sense to argue that communication is not required. That is the same way power was yeilded over the slaves two hundred years ago.
