Has anyone used GetInterviews.com for a critique or full resume rewrite?

I submitted my resume for their free critique, and was given some useful, objective information. But they are expensive, and I would just like to know whether others have been happy with their services.

I submitted mine for critique and they come back with some suggestions and offer to do it for almost $500. I think I will have to work harder and make my resume more appealing some how, but I sure I cannot expend $500 on a resume.
I will find a way to improve my resume.

They wanted to charge me $395.00. That is totally ridiculous. I wish these resume writing companies stop trying to squeeze every penny from people who are desperately trying to find a job. We probably all have read professional resume writing books and have our resume pretty well put together, just need another set of professional eyes. I can see if they wanted all of this money if they were writing it from scratch but in most cases that's not the case.
It's a business like everything else out here but they don't have pity on those looking for a job.

Update: GetInterviews.com must not be getting very much business over the last couple of months - they're down to $250.00 for a resume re-write. Also, if you act now (in the first seven days) they'll write you a free cover letter and throw that in.
Question I have from another blog site is -- are these 'writers' or just resume readers that get assigned to help you?

I also submitted my resume for a critique and was furnished a lengthy, detailed, descriptive response. In addition, was quoted $395 for a resume and cover letter, providing I commit within a relatively short time frame. I followed up with questions that were answered promptly, but was not furnished requested references. I was suspicious and was hesitant to submit full payment without receiving references and/or testimonials, so I searched the internet for reviews. I couldn't find many reviews and noticed this service was recognized by other resume service review sites with applicable ratings.
The critique was signed by Diane Prignano. After googling this person, a person with the same name is listed on LinkedIn, a professional network. However, there's no mention of this person affiliated with GetInterviews.com.
Personally, I have sensed too many red flags trying to gather more information regarding this company and feel I'd be better off using someone else.
My advice is to keep shopping!

I just had my resume submitted today for critique. The critique was to the point and kept me interested in all what I needed to do. As I got to the bottom of the email I did realize this would be a service and I amenable to that. However when I saw the cost, I thought it high and decided to embark on search for feedback before my money is taken and so service is given. While I see prices ranging from 500 to 250, I was told $250 and if I act within 7 days the cover letter is free ($137 cost value). Now I am a bit concerned about all the pricing variations. Not sure if is based on how much work they think your resume needs. I like what Tammy Belcher had to say and will consider it, but with another more cost effective resume writing company. Incidentally there are 6 Tammy Belcher's on LinkedIn and none with the title of Professional Analyst for GetInterviews.com. If anyone finds a reputable resume writing site that is more cost conscious but just as analytical please inform here.
