It's a sellers market due to the first-time home buyers' rebate. We had four offers and the bidding war in less than a week on the market. We believe we're getting a fair price. It takes about thee months from contract to selling to move this forward. You interview different movers only and don't accept anyone who will only have an estimate over the phone.
The certificate of occupancy can be done through a records review and a house driveby. That's how ours was done. Closing will happen in a few weeks. It sounds like we don't have to be there but will.
So, I'll be contacting yall from Bernardville/Weavervillle. We'll have a room in a few months if anyone wants t0 come visit. I'm serious. We've kept a pulse on rentals and know what we want.
I'll still be on the boards but a little less until we settle.
